Essential

Job Responsibilities

Relate positively to students, teachers, staff, and parents.

Assist with procedures and operations that relate to the orderly operation of the library media program.

Instruct, model and reteach appropriate behaviors; reinforcing school-wide expectations while in the library and throughout the school.

Supervise students and instruct class as needed.

Be familiar with resources located in the library media center and assist teachers and students when locating materials and checking books in and out. (Using Follett/Destiny System)

Assist with preparation of materials and supplies, displays and annual inventory of library materials.

Perform other duties throughout the school as needed; cafeteria supervision, student drop-off and pick-up, etc.
