Position: Tray Catcher SS - M,Tu,Th,F (4:30a-2:30p)
The purpose of this position is to receive trays from the tray washer/disinfector machine and transfer them onto clean hatcher buggies.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Meets production requirements by stacking several cleaned trays per minute. Inspect trays for cleanliness as they exit the washer machine and stacks them properly. Uses hand held pressure hoses to wash down wheeled carts that carry trays after entering the washer machine if they come out still dirty. Cleans and disinfects the tray room at the end of each shift.

Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Physical

Activities:

Must be able to work in temperature extremes, on feet for the entire shift. Must be able to lift and carry 10-12 pound empty trays out of a chest level exit of a tray washer, and place them on a cart from floor to above shoulder level. Must be able to push/pull wheeled carts full of clean trays weighing up to 200 pounds about 50 feet in distance.

Minimum Education:

Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
