What You’ll DoThe Nursing Director is the designated leader, responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The Nursing Director plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and evaluates the units’ activities and day-to-day operations. The director has responsibility for all patient care actions, quality and outcomes of the units. They collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and safe patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
The director is responsible for the education of and compliance with the National Patient Safety Goals and NHS policies, practices, and protocols; and aids in the professional development of staff. The Nursing Director has twenty-four hour accountability for the units.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
