Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) is required to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care in our emergency department. The RN maintains professional accountability, coordinates patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, upholds patient rights and confidentiality, and ensures compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.
Unit DetailsOur emergency department is a 24-bed Level III trauma unit serving a highly diverse patient population. The team handles acute and complex conditions including post-operative cardiac cases, neurosurgical patients, trauma, renal, and general medical emergencies. The unit also cares for cardiac and neurological patients in the Cardiac/Neuro specialization, with a stable patient mix and 24 beds.
Location:
Siloam Springs.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, diploma, or BSN).
- Valid and current RN license within the state or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be completed within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – may be required.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification – may be required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification – may be required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – may be required.
- Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification – may be required.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules – may be required.
- Fetal Monitor Certification (C-EFM) – may be required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – may be required.
- Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses (CPHON) – may be required.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – may be required.
- Other unit-specific certifications as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
- Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
