You must have an active Arkansas RN license or a qualifying compact state license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
At least 2 years of recent emergency department nursing experience is required.
Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Skills in triage, rapid assessment, and teamwork are important.
