Agricultural Science Teacher (215 Days)
Starting Date: Immediately
Job DescriptionEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with certification in Agricultural Science
Experience: Knowledge of Horticulture and Plant Science, Floral Design, Animal Science and Forestry, Agricultural Science and Technology
Illustrative Duties- Provides general instruction to students in their daily activities by developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district’s curriculum program.
- Oversee FFA Chapter.
- Work with other members of the staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
- Assume responsibility of related extracurricular activities as assigned.
- Be a positive role model for students, and support the mission of campus and district.
- Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, administration, and other staff members.
- 215 Day Contract.
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: $45,000 to $61,450 Per Year
