Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a certification in Language Other Than English (LOTE):
American Sign Language (ASL) or Spanish.

Annual Stipend of $10,000 for hard to fill positions

Experience:Prefer an individual with knowledge of the general needs of children at this grade level, andthe ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents.

Illustrative Duties:

• Provides general instruction to students in their daily instructional activities by developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district’s curriculum program
• Work with other members of the staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and instructional methods
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing
• Assume responsibility of the extracurricular activities as assigned
• Be a positive role model for students, and support mission of campus and district
• Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, administration, and other staff members.
