We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time JANITOR positions.

• Location:
  
  Silsbee ISD – 415 Highway 327 West, Silsbee, TX 77656. (Openings at other district locations are available.)
  
  Note:

• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time and part‑time schedules;
  Monday through Friday. Hours may vary and will be discussed during the interview.
  Full and part‑time positions offer flexibility to meet most scheduling needs.
• Requirement:
  Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $11.25 per hour.

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection‑control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
