- Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU or SCU experience. Epic charting experience is required.

1 Year (Minimum) Are you a versatile RN who thrives in a dynamic environment? We are looking for an adaptable ICU/Stepdown professional for our Special Care Unit (SCU). This role is perfect for a nurse with a broad clinical foundation who enjoys a mix of critical care and high-acuity stepdown patients. The Clinical Environment This unit functions as a hybrid Special Care Unit.
While we manage traditional ICU cases, the patient population is diverse, mirroring a high-acuity Stepdown unit in larger facilities. Diverse Patient Mix:
You will manage a variety of cases including MICU, SICU, and CICU. Common Pathologies:
Frequent management of DKA, Alcohol Withdrawal, and standard ICU drips. Specialty Coverage:
Occasional OB patients and potential Med Surg overflow for pediatric patients (under age
2). Support: PICU cases are typically transferred out, allowing you to focus on the adult population and stable overflow. Submission Requirements To be considered for this role, the following must be included at the time of submission:
