The RN demonstrates advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking with supervisory support. The RN will provide direct and specialized care for newborns requiring close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other conditions requiring surgical or therapeutic intervention.

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns requiring close monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in the NICU.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans of care for high‑risk newborns, including use of ventilators, incubators, and other technology.

• At least 18 months recent experience in an acute‑care NICU setting.
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend will be determined. Weekly payment estimates include gross estimates of hourly wages and reimbursements for meals, incidental and housing expenses.
