Pre-Op/Pacu Registered Nurse

The Pre-Op/Pacu Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, evaluating, and delivering safe, appropriate care within the scope of their practice to patients in the perioperative setting. This role requires the ability to work effectively in both pre-op and Pacu patient care settings, with availability to take on-call as scheduled.

• Assess, plan, and deliver care to patients in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia care units.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort before and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Monday-Friday with varied shifts that include some on-call responsibilities.

• Current registered nurse (rn) license.
• Experience in pre-operative and Pacu settings is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other units if required.
• Available for an on-call schedule.
