Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $59,965.78 entry, Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Work Schedule:

• Collect dairy and water samples from dairy farms and dairy plants in the assigned territory.
• Conduct inspections on dairy farms and dairy plants and perform equipment tests on pasteurizers in dairy plants.
• Review engineered drawings on equipment and pipelines for compliance with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.
• Take regulatory action on products or facilities when warranted.
• This position is located in Roswell/Lovington, New Mexico.

  Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  Five (5) years of experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined;

• Special Certification/Licensure: A Cover Letter and Unofficial Transcripts are required
• Must have and maintain a valid unrestricted drivers license.
• Work may involve direct contact or exposure to allergens including but not limited to bees, peanuts, dust, animal feed, etc.

• Environment: Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements: i.e. extreme temp, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, other potentially dangerous materials/situations that require safety precaution/protective equipment.
• Physical Effort: Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
• Lifting Requirements: Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Risk: Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
