Payroll Specialist – Silver Spring, MD
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a leader in the healthcare industry and has been around for 50+ years!
- Due to vacancy, they are hiring a temporary Payroll Specialist in their Silver Spring, MD. office.
- Position is 100% in office.
- Duration: 30-45 days
- Pay: $26-28/hr
Overview of the Payroll Specialist role:
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Manager payroll tax filing and ensure compliance
- Onboarding, terminations, pay increases, etc.
- Reconciliations
- Support audits
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of payroll experience is preferred
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and Sage Intacct is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
