Responsibilities
- Process full‑cycle payroll for a large, multi‑state employee population (hourly and salaried)
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, and taxes
- Perform payroll reconciliations, including quarterly and year‑end reporting (e.g., payroll tax forms)
- Support payroll system transitions and data validation activities
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Assist with audits, reporting, and payroll‑related inquiries
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Accounting, HR, or related field)
- 2‑3 years of full‑cycle payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage high‑volume payroll processing and meet deadlines
- Professional payroll certification (e.g., CPP) is a plus
- Experience with payroll systems or system implementations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
