We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead core accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing hands‑on accounting work with team leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across departments.
What You Will Do- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Maintain internal controls and help ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Review account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other accounting deliverables.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, explain variances, and support decision-making.
- Assist with audits, tax-related requests, and external reporting requirements as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and strengthen reporting processes.
- Support, train, and coach accounting team members to promote accuracy, accountability, and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience with financial close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience leading accounting staff or managing project responsibilities.
- Exposure to audit preparation, tax support, or process automation.
- Experience working in a multi‑entity or growth‑oriented environment.
