Lead Psychiatry Administrative Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish)We are partnering with a valued client with whom we have worked successfully for several years to identify an experienced Lead Psychiatry Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced Psychiatry department.
Position OverviewThis role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a busy medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting high-volume providers, managing complex schedules, and interacting directly with patients. Bilingual fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
Schedule (Hybrid)- Monday & Tuesday (Remote): 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Wednesday - Friday (Onsite): 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- $50,000 - $55,000 annually
, depending on experience - Excellent benefits package including health benefits and generous vacation time
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Psychiatry department
- Manage provider schedules for high-volume clinicians
- Serve as primary telephone/front desk support and provide backup reception coverage as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and supervisors to respond to inquiries and help resolve concerns
- Provide limited Spanish interpretation support when needed
- Check patients in and out
- Coordinate and track psychiatry records requests
- Schedule initial and annual psychiatric evaluations
- Complete accurate EMR data entry
- Support special projects as assigned
- Take meeting minutes on a rotating basis
- Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) – required
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Strong patient-facing/customer service experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive problem‑solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Sound judgment and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
