Board of Public Works (BPW) Coordinator (Administrator I) – Office of Procurement and Materials Management (OPAMM) – Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport)
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end development of Maryland Board of Public Works (BPW) agenda items, including preparing, reviewing, editing, and formatting contract documentation for BPW approval or reporting.
- Request, verify, and approve legally sufficient contract documentation, managing payment and performance bonds, processing tax verifications and contract affidavits, and ensuring compliance with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation forms and affidavits.
- Develop and compile comprehensive presentation packages regarding current MAA agenda items for the BPW Review group and upcoming BPW meetings.
- Prepare and deliver high-level briefings for the Director of OPAMM and MAA Executive Leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
- Prepare reports regarding contracts approved by the BPW when requested by MAA Executive team or MDOT.
- Respond to inquiries from contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other interested parties regarding projects, contract documents, schedules and procurement procedures.
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
Four years of experience in administrative staff or professional work, including one year managing the end-to-end development of Maryland BPW agenda items, preparing, reviewing, editing, and formatting contract documentation for BPW approval or reporting. - Selective
Qualification:
Ability to manage the end-to-end development of Maryland BPW agenda items as described above. - Substitutions: 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience; possession of a Bachelor's degree; possession of a Master's degree; or U.S. Armed Forces military service experience involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policies, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations.
- Requirement of a valid motor vehicle operator's license in the State of Maryland if duties require operation of a motor vehicle.
