What You Bring to the Table- Expert-Level Skill — Advanced knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, drivability, transmission, and engine diagnostics.
- Quality of Workmanship — You hold yourself to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed with accuracy, care, and integrity. You never “just get it done” — you get it done right.
- Experience & Certification
- Ford Certified or A S E Master Technician status preferred (but not required).
- If you are not already Ford certified, obtaining Ford certification will be a requirement.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Problem‑Solving Ability — Strong diagnostic and analytical skills to efficiently identify issues and recommend proper repairs.
- Technical Aptitude — Proficiency with Ford factory diagnostic systems, tools, and digital service platforms.
- Communication & Teamwork — Able to clearly explain findings and collaborate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians.
- Efficiency & Productivity — Proven ability to manage time, maximize flag hours, and maintain high CSI scores.
- Continuous Learning — Commitment to staying current with evolving Ford vehicle technologies and participating in manufacturer training.
- Professionalism & Reliability — Dependable, punctual, and committed to representing the Preston brand with excellence.
- Ford Certification – Strong familiarity with Ford systems, platforms, and repair processes is a huge plus.
- CDK Experience – Preferred but not required; we’ll train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Automotive technical school or ASE certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
