Automotive Valet

DARCARS of Silver Spring is now hiring an Automotive Valet

The Automotive Valet position plays an extremely important role in the dealership and the overall continued success of our company. In this role, you are responsible for lot management and will perform various tasks and errands.

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable, safe driving record
• Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions
• Lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Operate manual vehicles (plus)

• Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
• Assist sales managers by moving vehicles to and from the dealership and any other assistance needed
• Provide shuttle service to customers when requested
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, employees or customers
• Responsible for garbage removal
• Cleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow as necessary
• Comply with DARCARS policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
