Associate Product Manager – Hybrid – Towson, Maryland or Valley City, Ohio

Role is hybrid with 3 days per week in the office.

The Outdoor Power Equipment Division of Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join the Residential Ride‑On product team. The role involves managing the full product lifecycle for residential lawn‑maintenance equipment, collaborating with engineering, brand marketing, IT, sales, and supply‑chain teams, and driving profitability and market success.

• Direct and coordinate strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business.
• Oversee profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising, and new‑product plans for anchors and fasteners within the C&I channel.
• Develop strategic initiatives in collaboration with product, brand, supply‑chain, and finance teams.
• Present new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to buyers and execute market‑communication plans and product launches.
• Interface with Brand Marketing for point‑of‑sale materials.
• Analyze and track POS, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes; recommend changes and improvements.
• Manage listings with Sales and Finance teams to maximize sales and profitability through mix management, promotions, and pricing actions.
• Provide technical sales support (submittals, training decks, competitive references, commission reports, inventory coordination).
• Make data‑driven business decisions to support channel P&L.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in product management, engineering, or a closely related role.
• Hands‑on experience managing equipment and interacting with end users.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical ability, and strategic mindset.
• Excellent research skills and ability to influence strategy based on results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present updates to stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working autonomously.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

The salary range for this position is $51,700.00 – $83,300.00.
