Responsibilities- Lead policy development and provide regulatory clauses concerning electricity transmission
- Develop the economic strategy for the expansion of utility services including transmission lines across the State
- Develop the economic justification for high-threshold ratepayer protections
- Audit the complex Cost-of-Service Studies (COSS) submitted by utility companies
- Analyze engineering documentation and list the impacts
- Provide testimony in reports and as an expert witness
- Work Remotely but some travel to Maryland is required
- U.S. Citizenship
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Economics, Finance or Public Policy
- Deep, practical expertise in Class Cost Allocation, Jurisdictional Cost-of-Service Studies (COSS), and utility revenue requirement modeling
- 10+ years of applied experience in regulatory economics, utility finance, or rate design
