Construction Laborer

I have direct hire Laborer positions in the Montgomery County area with a residential remodeling and design/build construction company specializing in custom renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, hands-on residential construction projects. LABORER-JOB DESCRIPTION (7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday) Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with remodeling and renovation tasks Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as wood, drywall, and other building components Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup duties Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Help with framing, drywall installation, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing tasks Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

1–3 years of construction, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and perform manual labor Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Positive attitude and willingness to learn Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Must be able to speak English Must be able to travel throughout Montgomery County Must be 18 years of age or older
