Position: Associate / Lead Dentist - $10k Sign-On Bonus

Offering $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Dentists

At Tend, we are redefining dental care by combining comprehensive diagnostics with a hospitality‑driven approach. As a Dentist at Tend, you will provide best‑in‑class clinical care in a modern studio and work with a full scope of operative, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.

Compensation & Earning Potential
  • Guaranteed daily rate plus a tiered percentage of adjusted production
  • Associate Dentists: 30–40% of adjusted production
  • Lead Dentists: 32–40% of adjusted production; eligible for a monthly studio performance bonus tied to key KPIs
What You’ll Do Clinical Excellence & Scope of Practice (All Dentists)
  • Deliver restorative and cosmetic services including inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers, endodontics, extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry
  • Handle comprehensive, aesthetic, and function‑driven cases beyond basic dentistry
  • Lead comprehensive exams that diagnose the whole person and develop member‑centered treatment plans
  • Diagnose and treat TMJ‑related conditions, including therapeutic Botox delivery
Professional Leadership in Clear Aligner and Sleep Therapy (All Dentists)
  • Identify malocclusion, occlusal wear, fracture lines, and sleep‑disordered breathing and educate members compassionately
  • Drive adoption of clear aligner treatment from diagnosis through case planning, bonding, and follow‑up
  • Evaluate and treat sleep‑disordered breathing with appropriate sleep medicine solutions
  • Build proficiency in aligner case selection, staging, and execution
  • Partner with clinical leadership to expand advanced treatment offerings
Productivity, Flow & Patient Experience (All Dentists)
  • Manage a dynamic schedule balancing operative procedures, hygiene checks, aligner starts, and same‑day treatment opportunities
  • Optimize scheduling with studio teams and review shifts in daily huddles
  • Drive production through proactive diagnosis, full treatment plans, and efficient chair time while maintaining quality
  • Deliver a hospitality‑driven member experience based on Personalized Care, Empowering Communication, and Human Compassion
  • Prioritize safety, member experience, and efficiency in all decisions
Team Collaboration & Studio Performance (All Dentists)
  • Collaborate closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and studio leadership for coordinated care
  • Ensure alignment in treatment planning, execution, and patient experience across disciplines
  • Engage in continuous clinical development including calibration, CE, and peer learning
Clinical Leadership & Studio Ownership (Lead Dentist Focus)
  • Mentor dentists, hygienists, and assistants in diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution
  • Lead clinical onboarding, training, and ongoing provider development
  • Partner with Studio Manager to optimize scheduling, member access, and studio performance
  • Lead daily huddles and clinical calibrations focused on workflow and continuous improvement
  • Review clinical outcomes, implement quality improvement solutions, and handle complex case escalations with an empathy‑first approach
  • Help build a high‑performing studio culture in partnership with leadership
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Current, active dental license in the state of application
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Active DEA registration
  • Associate Dentists:
    Minimum 2 years of experience (post‑residency) in private practice, DSO, or similar setting
  • Lead Dentists: 6+ years post‑residency with proven leadership experience in a multi‑chair environment
  • Comfort with modern technology and willingness to adopt digital workflows
  • Invisalign certification
  • Ability to work a full‑time schedule of 4 days per week with 2 Saturdays per month or a part‑time schedule of 2–3 days per week including some Saturdays
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform clinical procedures for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for precise instrument handling
  • Adequate vision (with or without correction) to read charts, interpret radiographs, and operate equipment
  • Ability to bend, reach, and maintain ergonomic positioning for patient care
  • Occasional lifting or movement of equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds
