Cummins Dental Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about preventive care, confident in patient education, and committed to clinical excellence.
As a key part of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hygiene services, identifying and discussing treatment needs, and supporting patient retention and satisfaction. Deliver routine and periodontal hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride application
Take diagnostic images (BWs, FMX, Pano) and complete full perio charting
Identify and communicate treatment needs and risk factors
Educate patients on home care, oral-systemic links, and treatment follow-through
Document findings and procedures accurately in Open Dental
Collaborate closely with doctors and treatment team to maintain continuity of care
Maintain infection control protocols and operatory readiness
Participate in morning huddles, team trainings and patient care coordination
Basic life support
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
Licensed dental hygienist
Open Dental
iTero
Active Maryland RDH license
CPR certification
1+ years of experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply with strong clinical references)
Proficiency in digital charting; experience with Open Dental and iTero a plus
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Mon 7:30 am - 5 pm Tue 6:30 am - 4 pm Thu 7:30 am - 5 pm Fri 7:30 am - 2 pm
