GST, LLC. is seeking an Educational Outreach Specialist (III) to lead the operations of the NOAA Outreach Center and manage over 100 collections of major education and outreach products. The incumbent will design and develop 3 to 5 new products annually, disseminate them to educators, students, and the public, respond to general public inquiries about NOAA and NOAA education, and provide guidance and expert advice to NOAA staff engaged in public outreach activities.
This position is contingent upon contract being awarded.
Primary Duties- Plan, coordinate, and support NOAA education participation in education conferences, meetings, workshops, civic events, and other activities. Coordinate with internal and external partners as needed.
- Design and develop educational outreach materials and publications.
- Assist with the planning and development of educational exhibits for NOAA booths in educational conferences.
- Assist with the development and coordination of products and services designed to promote education programs and efforts of NOAA’s Office of Education and the NOAA education community.
- Coordinate with educational outreach professionals across NOAA to ensure consistency of approach and share best practices and lessons learned.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, or related fields.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience.

CompensationGST offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care for full‑time employees working 30-plus hours per week. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually.
