Job Description
Silver Spring CRC is seeking a part‑time interim pastor to serve during the transition to a full‑time called pastor. The role includes collaborating with the Worship, Discipleship and Communication ministry to plan weekly worship services and preaching at least two to three Sundays per month. The interim pastor will provide pastoral care and may use the church parsonage.
Responsibilities- Work jointly with the Council and ministry teams to plan and lead worship services.
- Preach at least two to three Sundays per month.
- Provide pastoral care to the congregation.
- Coordinate logistics and support for worship and discipleship programming.
- Ordained pastor with demonstrated preaching gifts.
- Flexibility in schedule and willingness to serve for a season.
- Experience with liturgical worship is preferred.
- Ability to work part‑time; may be a student, recent graduate, second‑career, or bivocational minister.
