Coach, Cheerleading, Montgomery Blair HS (26003SK)

Job Specific Information:
This will end 11/6/26. The wage range is $18.00 to $ per hour, depending on factors such as project, prior MCPS experience, and current agreements. The position is Temporary Part Time (TPT) and does not include benefits.

All coaching positions in MCPS are conducted by an interview and hiring process by the principal or designee at the relevant school. Coaches are qualified and hired for one season. Schools must hire qualified MCPS teachers or professional certified educators for coaching positions if available, otherwise emergency coaches may be hired.

• Be an MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS
• Have completed or be enrolled in the two-credit MCPS course “Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED”, which is offered periodically through the MCPS Athletics Unit
• Complete and submit the online MCPS Application

• Be a certified teacher (though not employed by MCPS)
• Have completed the two-credit MCPS course “Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED”
• Complete and submit the online MCPS Application

• Be a high school graduate
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have completed the two-credit MCPS course “Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED”
• Complete and submit the online MCPS Application
