Full-Time Early Learning Teacher

About the RoleAs a Teacher, you will work under the leadership of the Early Learning Director or Assistant Director to implement engaging lesson plans and classroom activities that support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of every child. This role is perfect for educators who enjoy creativity, structure, and building strong relationships with children and families.
What You'll Do- Develop and lead developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Create and maintain substitute documentation including schedules, activities, and emergency info
- Implement daily routines allowing for both teacher-led and child-driven learning
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Communicate clearly and consistently with families
- Attend family and program-related events
- 15 credit hours in Early Childhood, 90-hour certificate, or CDA
- CDA required within 18 months of employment
- Minimum one year teaching experience in a licensed center
- 20 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Meets jurisdictional background and fingerprinting requirements
- Able to sit, stand, and actively participate in play
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs
- Visual acuity for constant child supervision
