Community Bridges empowers girls from backgrounds in under‑resourced communities to become confident, resilient leaders who thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We serve girls in grades 4–12 through comprehensive after‑school and mentoring programs, family engagement, and college and career readiness initiatives. As an Ameri Corps VISTA member, you will play a vital role in expanding our College and Career Success Program, helping to break cycles of poverty by increasing college access, success, and graduation rates among first‑generation and low‑income students.
You will support and strengthen systems that guide high‑school girls and recent graduates through the complex college preparation and transition process. Your work will include developing partnerships with local colleges and universities, improving systems for scholarship and financial aid tracking, supporting alumni outreach and data collection, and enhancing our college access curriculum and workshops. You will help build the capacity of our program by creating sustainable resources and tools that ensure more girls can succeed in college and beyond.
Join our passionate, equity‑driven team and help create brighter futures for young women who are ready to lead and make change in their communities.
