Job DescriptionNavra Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Math Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity in Washington, DC
.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing math instruction to students with diverse learning needs and will be passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and achieve their individualized educational goals.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized math instruction to students receiving Special Education services
- Develop and implement engaging lessons based on students’ individual learning needs
- Modify and differentiate math curriculum, assignments, and assessments
- Implement and support students'
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- DC teaching license/certification or eligibility for appropriate certification preferred
- Special Education teaching experience strongly preferred
