Math Instructor​/Tutor

Mathnasium seeks a Part-time Math Instructor/Tutor to provide individualized math instruction to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method. In this role, you'll assess student skills, follow customized learning plans, and guide students through problem-solving to build understanding and confidence. You'll support students in-center, communicate progress to the team, and contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for those strong in math who enjoy working with children and want flexible, part-time educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized math instruction to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method
• Assess student skills and follow customized learning plans
• Guide students through problem-solving to build understanding and confidence
• Monitor and document student progress
• Maintain an engaging, positive, and orderly learning environment
• Collaborate with center staff to support student goals
• Use in-center and, when needed, online platforms for instruction
• Communicate student progress and needs to the instructional team
• Uphold Mathnasium's teaching standards and curriculum guidelines
• Support new student onboarding and orientation activities as needed
