Community Support Staff​/Tutor

One of our clients is seeking a Community Support Staff /Tutor to provide service in the Montgomery County & prince George's county area for the new school year 2026 - 2027.

The Community Support Staff are responsible for planning and providing community-based academic, vocational, social skills, and transition experiences to meet assigned students' needs as outlined by county curricula and as stated in the students' IEP.

• * Under supervision of a certified teacher, plan and implement lessons and activities designed to address the specific strengths and needs of students in order to meet the IEP goals.
• * Provide instructional assistance to teachers.
• * In collaboration with the therapists and crisis intervention specialist, provide crisis management and assist students in accessing community resources.
• * Supporting employment and career development including vocational assessment, career exploration, and Internship/employment placement.
• * Maintaining records of academic, behavioral and vocational participation and progress on a regular basis.
• * Maintain consistent communication with parents, employers, adult service providers and other outside agencies.
• * Coordinate and provide transportation for assigned students between their places of residence, locations in the community for school-related activities.

• * Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• * Valid drivers license required.
• * Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements, maintain auto insurance and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards.

• * Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health.
