Financial Analyst – Children’s National Information Technology Department
Pay Range: $54,683.20 - $91,145.60
Responsibilities- Assist in the oversight of the institution’s financial performance and reporting
- Support creation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports
- Support the annual budget process, formulating and reviewing financial analysis on cash flow, operating results, and business plans to determine investment requirements, rates of return, and capital/cash flow requirements
- Review and prepare forecasts and analyze industry and general economic trends, creating summary presentations for leadership
- Analyze financial and operational data to support department and management decision making
- Participate in business case development and analysis, and partner with multidisciplinary groups for problem solving
- Assist with creation of budget schedules, reports, and monitor changes and financial impacts
- Create mailings and slide presentations to functional management
- Extract, combine, and evaluate financial data from multiple sources relative to the formulated budget
- Prepare and present accurate, timely reports for performance monitoring and trend analysis
- Support other duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting in Excel
- Ability to work under moderate supervision with independent judgment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills, and willingness to expand knowledge base
The disclosed salary range is the minimum and maximum rates within which Children’s National believes an individual’s base pay rate will fall.
