Business Financial Professional; BFP TS​/SCI POLY

BCT LLC is seeking a mid-level Business Finance Professional (BFP). The ideal candidate must possess an active TS/SCI w/Poly. This position is located in Fort Meade, Maryland.

This Business Finance Professional 2 role will assist in the execution of the Program's Budget through the creation and maintenance of spend plans, requisitions, and supporting documents. The candidate will coordinate financial data with Government officials such as Business Financial Managers, Program Managers, Contract Managers, Contracting Officers, and Contracting Specialists and support day‑to‑day mission activities.

• Assist with the validation and completion of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
• Assist the Government Business Contract Management Offices with conducting End‑of‑Year activities and completing the Actual data calls.
• Enter requisitions into the NSA's financial management system with all required information and documentation.
• Prepare non‑complex Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR) and Economy Act Orders (EAO) and their associated requisitions.
• Process incoming MIPRs and EAOs using standard BM&A process to ensure Agency acceptance.
• Create and maintain spend plans in the Agency's financial management system to document Government‑specified requirements.
• Modify requisitions and documentation to comply with Contracting guidance to assist in the obligation of funds.
• Assist Government Program Managers in tracking requirements through execution, monitoring requisitions through approval and certification, and directing them to the appropriate destination.
• Pull financial reports and data from Agency systems.
• Utilize NSA acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.

• Eight (8) years of DoD/IC experience or ten (10) years of DoD/IC/commercial experience in purchasing or finance, and a Bachelor's degree with a business focus.
• Experience preparing reports reflecting program/project status in cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience in budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, including importing Excel data into presentations.
• In lieu of a degree, a PMP certification, CDFM, or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management and 11 years of DoD/IC experience, or 13 years of DoD/IC/commercial purchasing/finance experience, may be substituted.
• Alternative in lieu of certification: an additional 2 years of directly related experience for a total of 13 years of DoD/IC experience or 15 years of DoD/IC/commercial experience may be substituted, and proficiency with PowerPoint remains required.
