Regional Supervisor for the Maryland Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Compliance program, responsible for managing a geographical region of the state to enforce workplace safety regulations and promote compliance with state and federal OSH laws. The position involves directing and training other compliance officers, conducting inspections, managing regional operations, and providing technical support to employers. Located in Hagerstown, Maryland, this is a Grade 0022 full-time permanent position limited to current Maryland Department of Labor employees.
Keyqualifications
- Four years of experience in workplace inspections for occupational safety and health compliance
- At least six months of experience conducting informal conferences
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license
- Experience reviewing inspection files for accuracy and documentation
- Experience training and mentoring staff
