main purpose of jobthis position serves as the division chief of compliance and special projects working within the office of innovation, research and development (ird) in the office of the deputy secretary for health care financing. The position will also be responsible for leading initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies within ird and the broader medicaid program, as well as supporting project management of h.r. 1 initiatives across all work streams.
The position will attend stakeholder meetings, internal program and staff meetings, conference calls, committee meetings, and hearings as needed to represent ird. Additionally, this position will provide managerial guidance, feedback and support to ird staff.
this position is eligible to perform its duties via remote telework 80% or as otherwise permitted by the appointing authority. Permission to telework is subject to the discretion of the appointing authority and can be terminated at any time as outlined in the telework agreement.
minimum qualificationseducation: graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
experience: six years of administrative staff or professional work.
notes- candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.
- candidates may substitute the possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience.
- candidates may substitute the possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university for five years of the required experience.
- candidates may substitute u.s. Armed forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
