Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver for a male hospice client who is bedridden and requires full assistance with all activities of daily living.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Please note:

hours may be slightly adjusted and will be confirmed.

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

• Total care for a bedridden client
• Checking, cleaning, and changing the client as needed
• Repositioning/rotating every 2 hours
• Keeping the client’s room clean and tidy
• Monitoring intake (client currently has limited appetite)
• Meal preparation
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
