End Date: 05-25-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

• Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient
• Deliver hands-on interventions to improve patients' independence with ADLs and IADLs
• Collaborate closely with nurses, PTs, SLPs and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document timely, accurate progress notes and treatment plans in the medical record
• Adapt interventions across settings while floating between Powerback and Larkin Chase Center
• Educate patients and families to support functional gains and safe transitions home
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland or ability to obtain license prior to start
• OTR credential or NBCOT certification preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation, outpatient or post-acute settings preferred
• Comfortable floating between facilities and adapting to different patient populations
• Strong communication and documentation skills with a patient-centered mindset

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or accredited entry-level OT degree)
• Entry-level OTD or advanced degree welcome but not required

• Skilled in assessment and creation of individualized OT treatment plans
• Experience with ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and home safety
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, splinting basics, and activity analysis
• Solid clinical reasoning and ability to measure and track functional outcomes
• Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and patient education skills
• Competent with electronic medical records and timely documentation practices
