A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Silver Spring, MD, offering full-time, onsite work within a public school setting. This role focuses on delivering exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, supporting their communication development and educational progress.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff to support student success.
- Complete required documentation in a timely, accurate manner.
- Utilize technology and software for evaluations, reporting, and communication.
- Participate in meetings related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for a minimum of one year.
- Active professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least one year of experience working with IEPs.
- Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Strong motivation to positively impact student outcomes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Technological proficiency including ability to navigate new software and troubleshooting basics.
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork within an educational environment.
- Weekly W-2 pay.
