- Assess and treat patients referred for occupational therapy while adhering to Maryland State law and AOTA Code of Ethics.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical professionals, staff, and families to ensure quality of care.
- Provide assessment and care for patients of all ages from neonates through geriatric patients.
- Receive additional training to work with special programs, procedures or specified patient groups as required by department guidelines.
- Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited school with an M.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board.
- Professional CPR certified within the probationary period.
- Successful completion of at least six months supervised, full-time fieldwork approved by the educational institution.
- Adherence to the AOTA Code of Ethics.
- Strong reading, writing, speaking and comprehension of English.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Willingness and ability to become proficient on basic computer systems used for documentation, scheduling and charging.
$39.00-$58.56 per hour
