Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA

Full‑Time

Join a supportive, therapist‑led rehab team in a respected skilled nursing facility where COTAs are truly valued, well‑supported, and empowered to help residents regain independence and enjoy meaningful daily activities.

Your Role
  • Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Provide hands‑on treatment to improve ADL function, fine motor skills, upper extremity strength/coordination, cognition, and functional independence
  • Train residents and families in adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and energy conservation techniques
  • Motivate and encourage residents during therapy sessions
  • Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with the OT, nursing, and interdisciplinary team

Requirements
  • Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA license (or pending)
