Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a caring and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in Silver Spring, MD. Whether you're a local or travel clinician, this is a great role for someone passionate about supporting patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing challenges in a collaborative setting.
Position Overview:As an SLP, you’ll assess and treat patients of various ages and conditions, focusing on improving communication, cognitive function, and safe swallowing. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide personalized and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies
Monitor and document progress using EMR systems
Collaborate with rehab and nursing teams to support continuity of care
Requirements:Active Maryland SLP license
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
