Speech Pathologist
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential services for students within a K-12 school environment in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role centers on meeting the speech, language, and communication needs of students to support their academic success and social development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs.
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as well as consultative support.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure integrated student support.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Maryland.
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations preferred but not mandatory.
- Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time schedules.
- Caseload includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- On-site presence at the school location in Silver Spring, MD is required.
