The RoleWe are seeking an experienced BCBA to provide in-person assessment, treatment planning, and supervision within a school setting in Silver Spring, MD. School environments require a special kind of BCBA: someone who reads situations well, adapts in the moment, communicates with tact, and earns the trust of teachers and teams. - Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skill assessments, and preference assessments
- Establish measurable goals and effective data collection systems
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Ensure treatment fidelity and alignment with BACB standards
- Analyze behavioral data and monitor client progress
- Modify treatment plans based on data and sound clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Partner closely with teachers, school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide caregiver training to support generalization of skills
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations Qualifications
- Maryland LBA licensure (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising RBTs and/or training caregivers
- Experience or strong interest in school-based ABA services
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to confidentiality
