Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Full Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, assisting with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
The DSP supports a young woman in the Kingsville area with activities at home and in the community, working on skills to increase independence, attending social groups and clubs, fun and skill‑based activities such as cooking, movies, exercise, meeting friends, etc.
The staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.
This position is 30 hours per week.
M-F 6a-8:30a and 6p-9:30p
The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.
Some lift and transfer may be required.
Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification.
DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:
- Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
- Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
- Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
- Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.

Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
Rate of pay: $22 per hour.
Rate of pay: $22 per hour. There is an additional $1 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts ($23 per hour).
