What you will do:- Conduct diagnostic examinations on clinical samples to identify infectious diseases and guide patient treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide expert opinions
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency
- Uphold strict safety and quality standards while conducting experiments and handling samples
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and new team members
- Keep detailed records of experiments and findings for future reference and reporting
- Hold HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an equivalent alternative
- Have post-qualifying experience in the field of biomedical science
- Be able to drive, which will support your ability to work in close partnership with various healthcare settings
