Direct Support Professional; DSP Prince George’s

Med Source Community Services, Inc. is a DDA Provider of Residential Services. We are currently accepting resumes for DSPs to work in our Prince George’s County homes. We are an equal opportunity employer.

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Availability to work 7 days consecutively from Wednesday to Wednesday (live in type situation one week on, one week off)
• Must be comfortable with computers and your cell phone, as software interaction is required
• Must be willing to drive medical transport vans
• Must pass a background check in accordance with CMS and State of Maryland rules

• Accredited Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related work experience
• Associate’s degree with related work experience
• First aid/CPR and CMT

• Administer medication and monitor the individual’s physical health, as outlined in the Medication Administration Training program
• Responsible for the personal care of the individuals served
• Maintain the individual’s home in a clean, safe, and home-like environment as stated in DDA Regulations
• Schedule health visits with health care providers, as outlined in the IP, and as individual needs arise
• Responsible for maintaining individual and household budgets
• Provide community integration/leisure activities in accordance with the individual’s IP
• Facilitate the development and monitoring of personal relationships
