Radiology Aide
White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Radiology Aide for our Radiology Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Radiology Aide, you will:
• Greets patients as they arrive at the front desk. Answers and places telephone calls to and from radiologists in order to facilitate urgent results reporting. Properly documents these procedures in the appropriate system (EMR, PACS, other IT systems).
• Burns CD and processes Release of Information requests accurately.
• Resolves scheduling conflicts and add on patients in order to facilitate excellent care.
• Faxes and calls reports to referring physicians offices.
• Assists with patient transport as needed.
• Provides coverage for the Reading Room Assistant as necessary in their absence.
• Participates in departmental performance improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of x-ray school, preferred
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

$18.00 - $22.79
