We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Mitchellville, Maryland
. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, meaningful patient relationships, and working alongside a supportive clinical team.

You’ll help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence while working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals

Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training

Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Collaborate with PTs and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team
