Psychologist

• Conduct psychological evaluations and gather clinical histories
• Administer appropriate assessments and develop diagnostic impressions within scope of practice
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate psychological interventions
• Establish treatment goals with clients
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment when needed
• Make referrals when another service is more appropriate
• Assess and respond to suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, and other urgent risks
• Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records
• Provide assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications
• Serve diverse populations across the lifespan
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Focus on patient-centered, culturally responsive care

• Must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland
• Licensure in Washington, D.C. preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
• Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• 1–3 years of desired experience
• Must be local
• Experience working with a range of diverse clientele preferred
• Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends preferred
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule; some in-person availability preferred
